The Director, Case Management & Campus Assessment, Response, & Evaluation (CARE) team will lead the College's non-clinical/administrative case management efforts using a holistic and highly collaborative approach to student health, personal and academic support, and overall well-being. Specifically responsible for addressing the needs of undergraduate and graduate students who may be struggling academically, psychologically, or economically, and/or who may be experiencing health challenges, disciplinary matters, or familial/social issues through a variety of interventions, referrals and follow-up services; as well as performing psychosocial needs assessment, case management, and consultation with academic deans, faculty, health care providers, parents, and colleagues within the Division of Learner Success and Campus Life.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
Master's Degree in Social Work, Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, Public Health, or a related field
A minimum of 10 years of experience working with college students; and a minimum of 5 years of experience managing staff and a budget.
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to, and empathy with, the developmental needs of today's college students.
Ability to work with ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, and faculty.
Must have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Maxient, Workday and Salesforce or other student information systems.
Ability to understand and make use of relevant student information and data to provide individualized advising services, support student success interventions, and implement targeted programming.
Must be flexible and willing to assume new tasks and special projects.
Must be capable of effectively managing a student crisis and following up with all appropriate parties in support of their academic, personal, and professional success.
Ability to create an environment where direct reports have the freedom and security to take initiative; deal with complexities with resilience, resourcefulness, and optimism; and appreciate open mindedness, creativity, and agility in thought and tactics

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Requires regular on-campus presence given student-facing nature of the role. Hybrid and remote modalities are available at certain times throughout the academic year.
