We are currently searching for a Service Representative to join our dynamic Popular Association Banking team! Responsible for interacting with customers to provide them with information in response to their inquiries ensuring that customers receive the best service possible. Research and resolve their service-related problems in an accurate and promptly manner.
In this position, you will:
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to all walk-in customer service requests, inbound customer calls and written correspondences.
- Build rapport with each customer.
- Actively listen to customers requests and inquires.
- Retain customers who inquire about canceling products or services through open listening, negotiation and policy review.
- Document in detail all interactions with customers.
- Provide customer education on product and services.
- Adjusts complaints concerning charges or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
- Other duties may be assigned.
To be considered, you will need:
- High school diploma or GED. AA and/or BA degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years prior banking/lending experience and/or office environment.
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency in database (Access), spreadsheet application, and MS applications (Words, Access, Outlook and Excel)
