Overview:
The Department of Justice & Law in the College of Arts & Sciences at Quinnipiac University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in our Law and Society Program, beginning August 11, 2025. We seek a dynamic, collaborative, and student-centered teacher and scholar committed to excellence in teaching, research, and professional engagement.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses, including Civil Procedures, as well as courses aligned with their expertise and program needs. We have a strong preference for candidates with experience teaching and researching innovative and emerging legal technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), and who can enhance our curriculum accordingly. We welcome applicants passionate about interdisciplinary legal education and experiential learning, and who are dedicated to preparing students for success in an evolving legal landscape.
The Law in Society Program is housed in the Department of Justice & Law, alongside programs in Justice and Community Engagement and Criminal Justice. Rooted in the humanities, the program offers a liberal-arts approach to the study of law and the legal system. It also supports minors in Law in Society and Criminal Justice, as well as an American Bar Association-approved paralegal certificate. Applicants whose teaching and research transcend disciplines within the department are encouraged.
