Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of IT Asset Management /
Procurement Specialist within our team. We seek a detail-oriented and experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join our team. You will oversee the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services while optimizing costs and maintaining compliance with organizational policies.



Key Responsibilities:




Procurement and Vendor Management



  • Manage the complete procurement lifecycle for IT assets, including hardware, software, and cloud services.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring competitive pricing and service quality.

  • Handle renewal and termination processes for IT contracts.




IT Asset and Licensing Management



  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, licenses, and subscriptions.

  • Monitor and manage licenses to obtain efficient utilization and compliance.




Cloud and Software Management



  • Work closely with IT administrators to procure and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.

  • Support provisioning and scaling of Azure and AWS cloud services to meet organizational and client requirements.

  • Research and recommend cost-saving opportunities in cloud and software procurement




Stakeholder Collaboration:



  • Collaborate with IT, legal, finance, and other departments to understand and meet procurement needs.

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on procurement status and issues.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.




Compliance and Reporting



  • Develop and maintain IT procurement practices that comply with company policies, industry standards, and client contracts.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including requisitions, contracts, and invoices.

  • Prepare and present procurement reports to management.




Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

  • 4 + years of experience working with vendors and managing contracts

  • 4 + years of experience in asset management and corporate licensing

  • 4 + years of experience working in procurement and with corporate departments

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate

  • Strong attention to details

  • Experience defining and executing asset management processes with large-scale programs with many baselines across architectures.

  • Data Management and process documentation experience.

  • Excellent communicator, able to capture action items and status clearly and concisely.



The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $80,800 to $129,300. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. This position is classified as exempt in accordance with applicable law.

This clearance process may start upon offer acceptance; and must be cleared prior to working on these projects.
