Job Title: Salesforce Quality Engineer Accessibility Testing Consultant



Slalom is seeking a Salesforce Quality Engineer with a strong focus on designing and executing accessibility testing alongside functional, integration, end-to-end, and user interface. This is an exciting opportunity for quality engineers who have a passion for accessibility testing and products in the Salesforce ecosystem such as PSS, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Clouds, Einstein Analytics, MuleSoft, Industry Clouds, Communities, Tableau, etc.



Responsibilities:



  • Conduct accessibility testing on Salesforce applications to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and other relevant accessibility standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to integrate accessibility best practices into the development lifecycle.

  • Identify, document, and track accessibility issues and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.

  • Prepare detailed reports on compliance testing results (including VPAT/ACR), issue tracking, and resolution status.

  • Stay up to date with the latest accessibility trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our accessibility testing processes.

  • Provide guidance and training to team members on accessibility best practices and guidelines.

  • Participate in user research and usability testing to gather feedback from users with disabilities.

  • Facilitate defect triage and handle overall defect resolution process.

  • Conduct test case reviews, ensure requirements traceability and proper coverage.

  • Share knowledge and help other team members of the Salesforce Quality Engineer team.

  • Engage with stakeholders and team members in conversations about accessibility during the early stages of a project to ensure inclusive design and development practices are integrated from the outset.


Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience in accessibility testing, preferably with Salesforce applications.

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably with Salesforce applications.

  • Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and other accessibility standards and guidelines.

  • Proficiency in using accessibility testing tools such as Axe, JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.

  • Familiarity with assistive technologies, including screen readers and magnifiers.

  • Experience in software and testing lifecycle, inception through deployment

  • Experience in test strategy, test planning, test case design, and test execution

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for identifying and resolving accessibility issues.

  • Passionate about quality engineering and the Salesforce ecosystem

  • Great verbal and written communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for the Consultant role is $96,000-$177,000. For this position, the base salary pay range for the Sr. Consultant role is $110,000-$203,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
