Job Description:

Position Summary

We are seeking an HR Generalist who will act as a key point of contact for both managers and employees regarding HR inquiries and support. The HR Generalist will provide assistance with interpreting policies, coordinating benefits and leave processes, and supporting overall HR operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in HR functions, such as employee relations, compensation, compliance, and systems administration . In the absence of the Human Resources Manager/Director, this individual will act as a back-up, and oversee the Human Resources department's daily activities and employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Point of Contact for HR Inquiries:


  • Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries.

  • Address employee concerns and provide timely responses.

  • Redirect inquiries to appropriate parties or departments as needed.

  • Generate and maintain HR-related reports to track inquiries and resolutions.

Benefits and Leave Management:


  • Guide employees on the different types of leave available (sick leave, vacation, FMLA, etc.).

  • Initiate and manage the leave process, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Handle the documentation related to employee leaves and benefits.

  • Collaborate with managers to facilitate the reactivation of employees after leave.

  • Provide ongoing support for employee benefit inquiries.

  • Work closely with benefits account managers and brokers to resolve routine benefits-related issues.


Administrative Support:

  • Assist in basic candidate screening and interview scheduling.

  • Provide support for Human Capital Management (HCM) system data entry and maintenance.

  • Offer general HR support, including coordination of HR-related activities and events.


Policy Review and Compliance:
  • Regularly review, understand, and acknowledge company policies and procedures in writing as they relate to job duties and responsibilities.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • May be asked to be involved with the location openings.

  • May provide other HR related services in the absence of the Hiring Manager.

  • Other special projects as assigned by Hiring Manager.

Minimum Job Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of Four years' experience in Human Resources.

  • Experience with ADP is required.

  • Established experience in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Qualifications Desired

  • Experience in the parking or related industry desired but not required.

Performance Standards

This position will receive an annual performance review from the direct supervisor to discuss actual performance as compared to the company's stated expectations and agreed upon job related performance goals for the upcoming year.

Work Environment : While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
