Job Description



Position Summary:



The primary duties of this position is driving improved data integrity in the area of pricing expediting resulting in improved efficiencies and improved Customer Appreciation Scores. In performing the primary duties, the Healthcare Pricing Audit Analyst exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to activity based problem resolutions. A majority of the time, this role will be making decisions around prioritizing issue resolution tasks and working with the various functional areas and customers to resolve issues. Additionally, the Healthcare Pricing Audit Analyst will participate as a key team member to conduct root cause analysis of repeating issues and work with the functional areas on Kaizen project teams improving processes and finding permanent solutions to these issues.


As time permits, the Healthcare Pricing Audit Analyst position will support HMD revenue growth through assisting in the implementation of share of market and share of wallet wins. This assistance will be in the areas of product conversion and process monitoring and control.


This role will perform work that requires knowledge of the Healthcare Market Division's data management system and other internal processes involving Customer Service, Finance, Pricing and other areas.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Pricing Accuracy

  • Analyze RGA pricing errors monthly determining customers with the greatest number of errors and their contributing factors submitting reports to Sales Operation management.

  • Develop root cause analysis and develop, with Sr. Manager, Operational Effectiveness, proper steps for executing resolution.

  • Have the ability to utilize Cognos and Excel macros to develop contract model pricing comparisons.

  • In conjunction with Supervisor Sales Support, assist with price audits for GPO's and IDN's to increase the potential for increased pricing accuracy and root cause development.

  • Utilize the RGA Upload tool for effective and timely process of mass credits.



Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:



  • Excellent organizational/team work skills.


  • Previous experience with mainframe and/or database systems.


  • Previous experience with AMPS.


  • Strong project, time and stakeholder management competency is therefore essential to maintain several priorities and meet established deadlines.


  • Ability to manage self, including time and surrounding circumstances to deliver both short term and long term goals.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Science or Business preferred, or equivalent years of experience required.


  • 2+ years of Pricing Operations experience.



Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:



  • Ability to communicate with business partners in a professional manner in verbal and written mode.


  • Must possess computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel


  • Must have working knowledge of Cognos or other business intelligence tool.


  • Ability to initiate, prioritize, and self-direct workload.


  • Strong orientation to accuracy and detail.
