Electronic Engineer Technician at Anamosa State Penitentiary in Anamosa, Iowa

Job Description:

Anamosa State Penitentiary is looking for an Electrocnic Engineer Technician to join our team.

Duties:

• Candidate will perform technical engineering work or provide assistance to professional engineers in the design, development and implementation of electronic equipment and telecommunications systems. 
• Supervise a small crew of incarcerated individuals teaching basic skills of electronic engineering. 

Experience in any of the following systems would be beneficial: telephone, fire alarm, two-way radios, computer network, security cameras, security systems, A/V, television and public address system.   

Requirements:

• Must have completed 2 years of formal training in electronic engineering technology and have3 years of technical experience in electronic engineering work or have an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 5 years.

Pay Range: 

• $56,700.80 - $86,340.80 yearly
• $27.26 - $41.51 hourly
