Job Title: Administrative Assistant for the Finance Dept
Job Overview: Our Financial client in St. Louis Park is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team for approximately three months during our busy season, with potential for extension based on performance and business needs. This role is 100% onsite and offers the opportunity to support financial advisors by handling client service inquiries, processing paperwork, and ensuring smooth administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and manage incoming client phone calls (average 10/day)
Address client service questions and escalate as needed
Handle service-related requests including withdrawals, annuity funds, tax statements, and various claims
Assist clients in completing necessary documents and process accordingly
Track service requests from initiation to completion
Scan and upload completed documents into Salesforce
Maintain and update client information in the database
Support financial advisors with meeting preparation
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Previous experience processing detailed paperwork
Salesforce experience preferred
Strong computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Position Details:
Pay: $20-21/hour (flexible based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Location: 100% onsite
Duration: Approx. 3 months with potential for extension
