Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the Accounting Team and various other departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Enter Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) data and assist in the collections process
Assist in the commercial collections process
Support Accounting Coordinators with collection processes for Home Center Customers
Organize and maintain all customer credits
Manage and maintain filing systems, including year-end file changes
Assist in maintaining document records, including photocopying and filing
Maintain both electronic and paper records for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Assist with small projects as time permits
Set up, maintain, retrieve, and purge files in compliance with records retention regulations
Assist with monthly cycle count observations
