Position Overview



Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Patient Access Specialist to join their client's team in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and support in a healthcare environment, ensuring accuracy in data entry and account management. The specialist will have the opportunity to work on-site for the first 90 days with the potential to transition to a remote setting thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry to create and manage patient accounts and cases.


• Provide overflow customer service support to various teams as needed.


• Update account information from medical billers accurately and efficiently.


• Utilize professional communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.


• Handle high-pressure and time-sensitive situations with sound judgment and customer service excellence.


• Assist in managing databases, including CRM systems, to track patient information.


• Support patients by understanding challenges associated with their medical conditions and facilitating necessary authorizations.

Qualifications

• Strong and accurate data entry skills.


• Previous experience in specialty pharmacy or customer service is preferable.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, web-based applications, and strong keyboarding skills.


• Experience working with databases, preferably CRM systems such as Salesforce.


• Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry environments is highly desirable.


• Must have prior authorization experience.


• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.


• Dependable with a strong work ethic.


• Capable of accepting and implementing feedback and coaching.

Required Work Hours



Available shifts include:

• 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (30 min lunch)


• 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (30 min lunch)


• 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (30 min lunch)

Benefits



The position offers a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Located in Overland Park, Kansas, this position is on-site for the first 90 days with an opportunity to work remotely thereafter.
