Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Patient Access Specialist to join their client's team in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and support in a healthcare environment, ensuring accuracy in data entry and account management. The specialist will have the opportunity to work on-site for the first 90 days with the potential to transition to a remote setting thereafter.
Responsibilities
Perform accurate data entry to create and manage patient accounts and cases.
Provide overflow customer service support to various teams as needed.
Update account information from medical billers accurately and efficiently.
Utilize professional communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
Handle high-pressure and time-sensitive situations with sound judgment and customer service excellence.
Assist in managing databases, including CRM systems, to track patient information.
Support patients by understanding challenges associated with their medical conditions and facilitating necessary authorizations.
Qualifications
Strong and accurate data entry skills.
Previous experience in specialty pharmacy or customer service is preferable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, web-based applications, and strong keyboarding skills.
Experience working with databases, preferably CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry environments is highly desirable.
Must have prior authorization experience.
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable with a strong work ethic.
Capable of accepting and implementing feedback and coaching.
Required Work Hours
Available shifts include:
8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (30 min lunch)
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (30 min lunch)
10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (30 min lunch)
Benefits
The position offers a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
