Job Summary
The Procurement Analyst specializes in conducting in-depth research and analysis of procurement-related data to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role involves gathering and evaluating data from various sources, including supplier performance metrics, market trends, inventory levels, and financial indicators. The Procurement Analyst collaborates with the procurement team to identify cost-saving opportunities, assess supplier capabilities, manage procurement risks, and drive continuous improvement in the procurement process.
Job Location
The role will report directly to the Head of Procurement - CRH Americas and will be a hybrid role in our Atlanta, GA corporate office.
Job Responsibilities
Conducting data analysis on supplier performance, spend data, and market trends
Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the procurement team and stakeholders
Participating in meetings with suppliers and internal teams to discuss contract terms, performance, and strategic initiatives
Collaborating with finance teams to align procurement activities with budget constraints
Researching potential suppliers and conducting supplier evaluations
Reviewing and negotiating procurement contracts
Interacting with procurement software and tools to streamline processes and enhance data analysis
Responding to ad-hoc data requests from the procurement team and other departments
Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Supply Chain Management or Business
1+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting and business intelligence
Strong expertise in Tableau and Excel
Curiosity and willingness to try new things
Passion for automation and digitization
Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel)
Tableau creation/modelling experience
Action oriented and drives for results
Strong planning and organization skills
Be a self-starter, detailed orientated and highly motivated
Knowledge and/or high interest in working with data models and reporting tools
Possess strong analytical skills
