We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our Occupational Health and HSE team. As an APRN in Occupational Health Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to employees in the workplace. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of workers and help promote a healthy and safe work environment.
As an APRN in Occupational Health Care, you will be responsible for conducting health assessments, diagnosing, and treating workplace injuries and illnesses, and providing education and counseling to employees and employers. You will collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement treatment plans, monitor employee health status, and promote workplace safety and wellness.

Valid APRN license and certification in Occupational Health.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Occupational Health Care.
Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations and guidelines.
Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in electronic medical records and occupational health software.
Ability to prioritize and manager multiple tasks efficiently.
Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in all aspects of work.
Development and on-going implementation of BGM's wellness program.
Administer and oversee the initial and continuing care for work and non-work related illnesses/injuries and coordinating offsite care as needed.
Serves as advisor to leadership team on issues related to occupational health and provides action plans for reducing the number of incidents and the associated costs.
Makes appropriate referrals to EFAP or other agencies when necessary and provides follow up support.
Oversee the administration of worker's compensation, the maintenance of accurate documentation and records as required by regulatory and internal procedural standards.
Assists in the administration of FMLA.
Handle Team Member medical issues with high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Track OSHA required and first responder certifications and facilitate recertification as necessary to meet regulatory and BGM internal standards.
Ensure HR compliance with Magna HS&E requirements including the Hearing Conservation Program.
Perform duties with the highest degree of confidentiality.
Education and/or Experience:
College Graduate program: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse preferred.
5 years' experience required.
2-4 years' experience in Occupational Health preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to operate standard office equipment preferred
