General Description:

Prepares integrated schedules for shop fabrication projects coordinated between engineer, vessel fabrication and API Tank fabrication. The role involves coordinating project schedules and coordination of logistics with the equipment department. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding construction workflow, is detailed and is a experienced in utilization of excel along with Microsoft projects or P6.

Essential Functions:

• Compiles schedules between engineering departments, shop resources and shipment dates.
• Tracks shop productivity and produces reports for management.
• In conjunction with Shop Superintendent, plans sequence of work to be done in logical order utilizing personnel and equipment factors. Schedule of work to be done must be discussed with client and agreed upon.
• Computes overall cost estimates for materials, labor and subcontracted work, often utilizing an estimate book.
• Performs weekly/biweekly updates on all projects.
• Maintains constant effective verbal and written communication with all parties involved in each job.
• Utilizes basic computer knowledge to input information and issue reports.

• Experience in utilization of scheduling software (P6 or Microsoft Projects)
• Must have a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Internet and email applications.
• Team player able to communicate and coordinate with multiple departments. ?
