POSITION: Corporate Portfolio Manager
REPORTS TO: Chief Partnerships Officer
TIME: Full-time, exempt
LOCATION: New York City (Midtown location) hybrid (remote work available 1-2 days a week). Domestic travel required for this position, up to 15% and including overnight and multi-day trips.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
Myriad USAs Corporate Portfolio Manager is a member of the corporate team, which stewards a portfolio of corporate and multi-regional Donor Advised Fund (DAF) relationships. The Corporate Portfolio Manager cultivates strong partnerships and identifies new opportunities to drive the growth of Myriad USAs services in the global philanthropic sector. This includes ensuring that grantmaking from this portfolio is executed efficiently and with a keen eye to donor, U.S. government, and international compliance requirements. The Corporate Portfolio Manager will also work closely with the Chief Partnerships Officer to support business development activities including strategy development and outreach to prospective clients, as well as represent Myriad USA at conferences and events. A successful candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, enjoy partnership development, and be competent in managing grant administration across a portfolio of clients.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio Management

  • Manage a portfolio of corporateand multi-regional client relationships with a high level of customer service
  • Manage and monitor the workflow for the full grantmaking cycle including due diligence & risk management, application review, reporting, and donor portal requirements for corporate and multi-regional donors
  • Review and approve grants to ensure alignment with donor needs and adherence to Myriad USAs due diligence procedures
  • Manage advisory service consulting projects when requested by donors, including proposal development and project management of deliverables
  • Support continuous improvement of Myriad USAs internal processes
  • Work closely with the Corporate Portfolio Assistant, who supports the entire corporate team in grant administration

Business Development


Support business development for corporate donors through prospecting research, outreach, and CRM management
Represent Myriad USA at sector events and support sponsorship discussions with key conference partners

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Bachelors degree, with five to seven years of professional experience and interest in pursuing a career in philanthropy and/or nonprofit management.
Strong relationship building skills and experience with partnership development. Comfort speaking with corporate executives and diverse stakeholders essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal, with the ability to listen, engage, and persuade internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds at all levels.
Knowledge and understanding of the nonprofit sector. Knowledge and understanding of corporate giving and CSR preferred.
Ability to work independently, self-guide workflow, handle multiple tasks, stay organized, and thrive in a dynamic and collaborative business environment.
A critical thinker, with the ability to effectively problem solve
Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and database management; experience with CRM and grant management software a plus.
Ability to travel (3 to 5 domestic trips a year).
Proficiency in a foreign language, international experience, or working in a multicultural setting is a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Gross annual salary of $80,000 to $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
