They are seeking a Network Engineer to join their Network Operations Center (NOC) team. This role will focus on maintaining and optimizing network performance, ensuring reliability, and enhancing security within large-scale enterprise network infrastructures. The selected candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting incidents, configuring network components, and implementing best practices for network efficiency.

Focus:
Continuously oversee the performance, security, and availability of enterprise networks, including traditional infrastructures and DAS networks.
Rapidly address network alarms, outages, and incidents to minimize service disruptions.
Diagnose root causes of network issues and implement appropriate resolutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy temporary and permanent solutions.
Execute configuration updates and changes for routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
Identify and troubleshoot connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks, and other inefficiencies.
Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for performance enhancements and capacity expansions.
Implement security measures to protect network integrity.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards in controlled environments.
Skill Set:
In-depth knowledge of IP networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs.
Strong proficiency in SD-WAN, routing, and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, etc.).
Hands-on experience with network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) and threat mitigation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors.
Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to network performance and security.
