We seek a highly skilled Senior ESS Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering cutting-edge energy solutions to our customers.

Position Overview:

The Senior ESS Engineer will lead commercial and industrial energy storage projects' design, integration, and commissioning. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

? Engineering Documentation Management: Maintain up-to-date manuals and internal and external documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

? Technical Documentation & Customer Project Support: Develop and maintain wiring diagrams, schematics, technical reports, and project-specific documentation for customers to ensure seamless communication and integration.

? Engineering Change Management: Oversee and implement engineering changes to improve product performance and reliability.

? Technical Leadership: Lead discussions with customers, partners, and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and solutions.

? Compliance & Standards: Ensure products and systems comply with UL, IEEE, NEC, and other relevant industry standards.

? Commissioning & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for the commissioning and troubleshooting of new installations.

? Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to integrate battery storage systems with solar PV, EV chargers, and other distributed energy resources.

? Technical Support: Assist sales and project management teams with technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:
  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  3. 5+ years of experience in energy storage, power systems, or related fields.
  4. Proficiency with ESS components, including inverters, BMS, EMS, and PCS.

Proficiency with protection relays, particularly SEL products.
  1. Strong understanding of microgrids, grid-tied, and off-grid systems.
  2. Proficient in AutoCAD and other similar tools.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
  2. Experience with energy storage projects in commercial and industrial sectors.
  3. Familiarity with UL, NEC, and other relevant industry standards.
