Job Description:

General Accountability: The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale technical projects from inception through completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with our business goals. Working directly with our engineering teams to manage secure cloud service projects for critical industry clients, utilizing project management methodologies.

Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Oversee and drive large-scale projects from planning through execution, working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Partner closely with engineers, translating business requirements into actionable tasks, ensuring technical feasibility, and facilitating effective communication between teams.
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones, proactively identifying and resolving any roadblocks to keep projects on track.
  • Apply methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall as appropriate to ensure project efficiency and adaptability.
  • Proficiently operate project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana) to track project progress, communicate updates, and maintain transparency.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and consistent updates to internal stakeholders, including project status, potential risks, and recommended solutions.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards by managing risks, monitoring KPIs, and conducting regular reviews with the team.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, incorporating feedback to optimize future project delivery.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Experience and Core Competencies:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, ideally within a technology or secure cloud services environment.
  • Solid understanding of software development processes and familiarity with cloud technology is preferred.
  • Proven experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, and proficiency in using tools like Jira, MS Project, Asana, or other project management software.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to managing challenges and mitigating project risks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and certificates in Project Management, or a related field are preferred.

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, sitting.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling, and operating office equipment.
