Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our privately held manufacturing company based in Pleasant Prairie, WI. With annual revenue of $100 million, we are dedicated to maintaining our company's financial health and driving our business to new heights. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing working capital and financial strategies to support our growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term growth and profitability.
Working Capital Management: Optimize the company's working capital by managing cash flow, receivables, payables, and inventory levels.
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports. Present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Capital Allocation: Evaluate investment opportunities and allocate capital to projects that maximize returns and align with the company's strategic objectives.
Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce expenses without compromising quality.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and strategies to shareholders, board members, and other stakeholders.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies and procedures.
Technology Integration: Leverage financial technologies to streamline processes and improve data accuracy and decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or CPA is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
Working Capital Management: Proven track record of effectively managing working capital to enhance liquidity and operational efficiency.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing finance team.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
