About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead and support a team of engineers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for managing engineering personnel, improving manufacturability and productivity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, fabrication, and leadership.
Responsibilities:
Interview, hire, and train employees while providing ongoing leadership, performance appraisals, and professional development.
Partner with sales, design engineering, and manufacturing teams to enhance manufacturability and productivity.
Guide engineering personnel in reviewing and converting design drawings into detailed part drawings and bills of materials.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Utilize technology effectively to enhance efficiency and performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and operational objectives.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a related engineering role.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Microsoft Office.
Experience with steel plate, structural fabrication, and shop practices.
Ability to anticipate customer needs, resolve issues, and drive change management.
Evaluate trends, assess business impact, and contribute to long-term organizational growth.
