Description Overview Our Legal team is a valued, solution focused partner integral to our business and central to the success of our evolving global organization. This Senior Paralegal Litigation opportunity will see you become an integral part of a global Legal team, based in either our North American Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI (preferably) or remotely. Scope of the Role Discovery Management: Oversee the e-discovery process, including implementing legal holds, conducting document collections, and leading custodian interviews; coordinate with in-house and outside counsel in drafting discovery responses. Case Management: track status of cases across the Company’s litigation portfolio, prepare litigation trackers, and support with updating litigation reports. Internal Investigations: provide support for internal investigations. Research: from time-to-time, conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support litigation efforts. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for litigation-related tasks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Claim Management: manage smaller liability matters threatened or brought against the Company. Administrative Support: Provide additional paralegal support to the Head of Litigation and other members. Experience Required Typically these skills are acquired with an educational degree and 2+ years of relevant experience Paralegal qualification or corresponding work experience as a broad-based Paralegal Commercial litigation experience, including class action, MDL and product liability claims Experience in an in-house corporate legal department a plus Experience with project management Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines Ability to manage workload and multiple concurrent deadlines Inclusive with open mindset in dealing with different types of stakeholders Excellent attention to detail Benefits We believe our people are our greatest asset.
