We seek an experienced Lead Building Automation Manager to oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS) for large-scale commercial and industrial projects in Ellensburg, WA. This leadership role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background in HVAC control systems. The ideal candidate will manage cutting-edge BAS/DDC projects, driving improvements in building performance, energy efficiency, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the entire BAS/DDC project lifecycle, ensuring projects meet technical specifications, schedules, and budget constraints.
Oversee system integration and commissioning for HVAC controls, chillers, boilers, VFDs, and advanced building automation platforms.
Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and ensure successful project execution.
Utilize Bluebeam, Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), MS Project, and Trimble AutoBid for project documentation, design reviews, and scheduling.
Monitor project financial performance, track budgets, and provide regular updates to stakeholders to maintain profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in BAS/DDC project or service management, focusing on commercial HVAC controls.
Expertise in Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, BACnet, Alerton, Distech, Trane, and Schneider Electric control systems.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid, Autodesk software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), and MS Project for tracking and coordination.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects.
Local and stable work history, demonstrating reliability and knowledge of industry standards in the Ellensburg, WA market.
