We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of automated manufacturing systems. This role will focus on designing and integrating automation solutions to enhance production efficiency, improve quality, and reduce labor dependency. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PLC programming, motion control, mechanical design, and equipment development within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Design & Development: Research, design, and develop automated systems, equipment, and mechanical processes to streamline production.
Integration & Optimization: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure optimal equipment utilization and process automation.
Troubleshooting & Improvement: Diagnose equipment failures, recommend improvements, and implement solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
Prototyping & Testing: Develop and test prototypes, analyze results, and refine designs for improved efficiency and scalability.
Maintenance & Support: Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of automation systems to ensure consistent performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
7+ years of experience in automation, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Expertise in PLC programming, motion control, and industrial automation.
Experience with machine shop operations, fabrication, and equipment design.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in CAD software for design and modeling.
