As a Plant Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, increasing productivity, and enhancing operational efficiency within our high-volume, high-speed facility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reduce waste, and ensure consistent quality standards. You will be responsible for analyzing and designing workflows, developing layouts, and driving cost-effective manufacturing solutions to support company growth.
Responsibilities:
Conduct time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies in manufacturing processes and recommend improvements.
Lead the design and implementation of optimized layouts for high-speed, high-volume production lines.
Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction.
Work closely with the production team to implement lean manufacturing principles, such as 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping.
Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, equipment specifications, and process flows.
Support the introduction of new products by designing and optimizing production processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput and minimize downtime.
Monitor and maintain safety, quality, and efficiency standards across all production processes.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize unplanned downtime.
Train and mentor operators and other plant personnel on process improvements and best practices.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues and quality concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume, high-speed manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing, and process optimization techniques.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other process design software.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various teams.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
