Job Description:

LHH is seeking a dynamic, people-oriented individual to elevate our client's fundraising efforts and strengthen relationships with high-level donors, foundations, and community stakeholders. This role involves designing and executing a comprehensive advancement strategy to drive significant revenue through a diversified fundraising portfolio, enhancing the organization's visibility and impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with major donors and foundations
  • Develop personalized strategies for top donors and maintain regular communication
  • Engage major donors through identification, cultivation, and solicitation of gifts
  • Lead the fundraising team, setting measurable goals for various initiatives
  • Act as an ambassador at public speaking events and engagements
  • Build trust-based relationships with the programs team to communicate impact
  • Participate in board meetings, report on revenue, and engage the board in fundraising
  • Oversee grant writing initiatives and manage secured grants
  • Collaborate with the program data team to ensure grant alignment
  • Execute the donor stewardship communication plan
  • Develop and review the annual fundraising budget
  • Analyze fundraising data and maintain data integrity
  • Oversee external events, including fundraising and community events
  • Stay informed on sex trafficking news and best practices, acting as a subject matter expert
  • Serve on the executive leadership team, providing feedback and recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years in fundraising leadership and supervision
  • Comfortability working in a faith-based organization
  • Proven success in securing major gifts and managing campaigns
  • Public speaking experience
  • Experience with donor databases/CRM
  • Strong ability to articulate mission and values
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Self-starter with goal-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of development best practices and fundraising tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive

Salary: starting at $90,000 (based on experience)
