BBSI has collaborated with a leading innovative builder of modular structures serving clients across multiple sectors. We are seeking a well-qualified Engineering Job Captain to help meet the demands of our growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in AutoCAD drafting, including experience with modular building projects.
Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced AutoCAD skills to produce accurate and detailed computer-generated Architectural and Engineering drawings for modular building projects.
Complete the documentation needed for project approvals
Collaborate effectively with inter-office departments to gather project-related information and coordinate drawings for necessary approvals.
Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact with all team members, facilitating the exchange of project information and ensuring seamless coordination.
Take ownership of projects, managing them efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
Ensure compliance with Architectural and Engineering methodologies, standards, and regulations in all project deliverables.
Continuously update and improve drawing standards and procedures to enhance overall efficiency and quality.
Report to the Director of Operations to determine general progress, technical competence, and adherence to pertinent policies and regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of Architectural and Engineering AutoCAD experience
1+ year of modular building experience
Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD software, with a credential or degree in AutoCAD preferred
Proven track record of successfully managing projects with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
