To harmoniously coordinate the activities and resources of the shipyard to complete individual projects in a cost effective and efficient manner, while maintaining schedule and minimizing conflict with other shipyard operations and projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:
These shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress to be shared with clients in addition to other stakeholders
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Responsible for collaboration and communication with various teams as needed
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Report progress, including any changes made to plans and production and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders including third parties/vendors
Perform risk assessment to minimize and manage project risks
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Meet with clients to clarify specific requirements of each project
Delegate project tasks based on skill sets and experience levels
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
Use and continually develop leadership skills
Review billing and invoices for accuracy
Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:

Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of five (5) years relevant trade experience within the marine industry OR High School diploma with a minimum of ten (10) years relevant trade experience within the marine industry.
Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification a plus
