Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Branch Manager for our client in Albuquerque, NM. This hands-on leadership role requires managing counter sales, warehouse operations, and a small team of three employees. The ideal candidate will have customer service, sales, and leadership experience, along with a strong understanding of warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee branch operations, ensuring efficiency from warehouse to front counter sales.
Lead and manage a small team, fostering productivity and morale.
Drive sales and customer service, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and repeat business.
Maintain inventory accuracy and manage branch finances, including P&L responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Provide hands-on leadership in daily warehouse activities and customer interactions.
Manage scheduling, payroll, hiring, and performance evaluations.
Ensure facility upkeep and compliance with all regulatory obligations, including OSHA and HazMat.
Report branch performance to regional management and contribute to business growth strategies.
Qualifications:
Five or more years of supervisory experience, preferably in branch or warehouse management.
At least four years of customer service and sales experience.
Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and develop a small team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is a plus, particularly Latitude.
Open to candidates from various industries, but experience in auto parts, wholesale, plumbing, HVAC, or similar fields is beneficial.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and maintain high activity levels.
