Our client is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join their team in Napa, CA. This Manager of FP&A will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial planning and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business goals • Develop and maintain financial models to analyze revenue, costs, profitability, and trends • Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, product launches, and pricing strategies • Partner with sales, operations, and marketing teams to evaluate financial performance and identify growth opportunities • Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) • Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis, scenario planning, and investment decision-making • Improve and streamline financial processes and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the business. • Support the marketing team with analytical support to evaluate campaign performance, ROI, and customer insights
Requirements: • Knowledge of QuickBooks and experience using it for financial reporting and analysis • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred • 5-7+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role, preferably in the wine, beverage, or consumer goods industry. • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data analysis tools; experience with ERP and BI systems a plus. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
