We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA HCM OM/PA/Benefits Functional Consultant to support a public sector client in its migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using RISE with SAP Private Cloud. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, testing, and deploying SAP HCM solutions, with a primary focus on Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), and Benefits. This role requires a deep understanding of public sector HR processes, SAP best practices, and migration strategies to S/4HANA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA HCM OM, PA, and Benefits modules. • Assess the current SAP ECC HCM landscape and develop a comprehensive migration strategy to S/4HANA. • Analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and provide expert recommendations for process improvements and system optimization. • Work closely with technical teams to ensure smooth data migration, integration, and system performance. • Conduct workshops, gather functional requirements, and document business processes. • Configure and customize SAP HCM functionalities in line with public sector HR policies and regulations. • Support the implementation of SAP Best Practices and Public Sector-specific compliance requirements. • Provide expertise in managing employee master data, payroll integration, and benefits administration in S/4HANA. • Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) in collaboration with key stakeholders. • Develop training materials and provide knowledge transfer to HR and IT teams. • Troubleshoot issues and provide post-go-live support for system stabilization. • Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA HCM innovations and provide insights on future enhancements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: • Minimum 8+ years of SAP HCM experience, with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations in OM/PA/Benefits, preferably in the public sector. • Proven experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, preferably using RISE with SAP Private Cloud. • Strong knowledge of public sector HR processes, including organizational structures, personnel administration, and benefits policies. • Hands-on experience in SAP HCM configuration, business process design, and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., Payroll, SuccessFactors, Finance). • Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps for HR functions and modernized user experience in S/4HANA. • Experience working with SAP Activate methodology and Agile project management approaches. • Ability to write functional specifications for RICEFW objects and collaborate with technical teams. • Knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central, integration with SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). • Understanding of HR reporting tools such as SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or third-party solutions. • Experience with security roles, authorizations, and data privacy compliance in public sector HR. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills. • Transit Industry experience strongly preferred.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: • SAP HCM or S/4HANA certification in OM/PA/Benefits preferred.
