One of our Government Organization clients is seeking to bring on a Sr. Administrative Assistant to join their growing Department of Public Utilities team in Richmond, VA. This individual will be primarily responsible for providing administrative support to large scale water and gas related projects. Other responsibilities include:
Issue task orders, schedule interviews and notify vendors about candidate selection(s)
Onboard contractors and arrange for a clean, equipped workspace stocked with the necessary tools
Manage project-related documentation by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
Prepare and review project related memos, meeting minutes and emails as well as assisting with event planning when needed
Manage availability of project tools, calendars for resources, workspaces, and meeting spaces to mitigate interruptions/adverse impact to the project.
Maintain meeting spaces ensuring spaces are clean and stocked with supplies, refreshments, temperature control, and other measures of comfort.
Track shipments, deliveries, store and distribute goods / inventory
Qualifications:
10+ years of related administrative assistant work experience
Experience providing support for large-scale projects preferably related to water or gas utilities
Experience working with Executive level teams
Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 (dependent on level of experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Hiring Method: 8 month-long contract with a high likelihood of extension and/or permanent hire

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
