Fragrance Lab Technician at Compunnel Inc. in Plainsboro, New Jersey

Job Description:

• Small scale Perfumery and Beauty Compounding supporting both local and global formulae
• Prepare fragrance compounds by precisely weighing accurate formulae ingredients using automated system.
• Ensuring all ingredients are quality and within expiration date.
• Perform other lab and project tasks as directed by the Lab Supervisors
• Maintain an organized collection of Raw Materials
• Be able to help with overflow work when volumes increase.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized laboratory workspace.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose viable solutions following Lean Management principles and guidelines.
• Assure compliance of HS&E procedures and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety.
• Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles, lab coat, closed toed shoes), follow safety protocols and avoid contamination risk.
• Independent and efficient use of all internal tools for data collection/recording and administration.
• Maintain awareness of technology and issues affecting own job.
• Contribute to team success - Actively participates as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.
