Arm & Hammer dish soap, Oxiclean stain pen, and Biz stain and odor eliminator . Over the past year, we have significantly expanded across major retail channels, including
Walmart, Amazon, and other national retailers .
As we scale operations to meet increasing demand, we are seeking a
strategic and execution-focused Supply Chain Director to lead procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production planning. This role requires a strong understanding of
manufacturing, CPG supply chains, retailer compliance, and cost optimization .
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Management
Oversee raw material procurement , ensuring materials are sourced efficiently to meet production needs.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships , negotiating contracts for cost savings, service levels, and reliability.
Collaborate with suppliers, co-manufacturers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure smooth operations.
Implement supplier scorecards to track performance on pricing, lead times, and quality compliance.
Inventory & Production Planning
Develop and maintain a demand planning model to align production with sales forecasts and retailer orders.
Manage cycle counts and inventory accuracy , minimizing stockouts and excess inventory costs.
Optimize safety stock levels across different product categories to balance demand variability.
Work with manufacturing partners and co-packers to ensure efficient production scheduling and raw material allocation.
Retailer & eCommerce Fulfillment
Oversee logistics scheduling for inbound and outbound shipments , ensuring adherence to OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) compliance with major retailers.
Manage eCommerce outbound freight for Amazon, Walmart.com, and other online channels, ensuring fast and cost-effective fulfillment.
Develop logistics strategies to reduce freight costs , improve carrier performance, and optimize shipping lanes.
Work cross-functionally with sales and finance to support seasonal demand surges, promotional events, and new product launches .
Operational Efficiency & Cost Optimization
Analyze freight spend and supply chain costs , implementing initiatives to drive efficiency.
Develop KPIs to track logistics performance , inventory turns, and supplier compliance.
Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation within the supply chain.
Collaborate with warehouse and fulfillment teams to transition from third-party fulfillment to in-house operations.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Lead a team of five direct and indirect reports , including procurement, inventory management, and logistics personnel.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement , encouraging innovation in supply chain processes.
Act as the supply chain liaison between finance, sales, and production teams to align operations with business goals.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in supply chain operations within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry .
Strong procurement, logistics, and inventory management background.
Experience managing national retail fulfillment (Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc.) and eCommerce logistics.
Knowledge of OTIF, routing guides, and retailer compliance requirements .
Advanced data analysis skills (Excel, ERP systems, Power BI, or equivalent analytics tools) .
Proven ability to develop and manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts .
Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment .
