Who are we looking for?
Our office in Arizona is looking for outstanding candidates to grow with us in this region! We are currently looking for an Environmental Project/Task Manager to join our Phoenix, AZ office.
With strong technical backgrounds in environmental assessment, remediation, and compliance, our Project Managers are tasked with supporting and leading GHD's environmental sector presence in Arizona and surrounding Western states.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Project/Task management and leadership of various environmental projects including maintenance of project scope, schedule, budget and quality through the coordination of project teams
- Participate in and lead teams in the pursuit, planning, design, and execution of environmental compliance, assessment, and remediation projects/programs
- Support existing GHD clients through the implementation of efficient and innovative solutions to address their environmental liabilities and concerns
- Prepare technical proposals and perform review of technical deliverables
- Mentor and provide leadership to groups of entry-level and junior environmental professionals
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Ability to present technical information, both written and orally, in a concise and professional manner; must have strong technical writing skills
- Ability to keep track of multiple moving parts and pieces across multiple projects, with a willingness and ability to pivot and adjust, as needed
- Excellent attention to detail towards quality work and deliverables
- Capable of excelling in our high-performance culture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage project teams and complete or oversee completion of reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related technical field
- Professional licensure is required (PE or PG)
- 7+ years of environmental project experience, preferably in a consulting environment, including the coordination of projects/tasks consisting of site investigation, remediation, and monitoring; and general environmental compliance
- A willingness to travel, if the need arises
