SUMMARY:
Immediate need for a hands-on Quality Manager to lead and oversee the quality assurance processes for the manufacturing of high-speed optical transceivers. Responsibilities include:
Lead the quality team to implement and maintain quality standards for the production of high-speed optical transceivers.
Ensure the production of optical transceivers meets customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Define, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality levels for optical transceivers.
Implement and maintain testing protocols for optical, electrical, and mechanical performance of transceivers.
Lead root cause analysis of quality issues and drive corrective actions to eliminate recurring problems.
Supplier Quality Management
Ensure that all quality-related documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, RoHS, CE, UL).
Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on optics/optical transceivers.
5-7+ years of related leadership experience.
Strong experience with high-speed optical transceiver design, manufacturing, and testing processes.
Proven experience implementing quality systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
Experience with industry certifications such as ISO 9001, RoHS, CE, UL, and others.
Strong knowledge of optical technologies and transceiver specifications.
Familiarity with test equipment and tools for optical, electrical, and mechanical testing.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and manage cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Preferred:
Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
Experience with optical testing equipment, such as bit error rate testers (BERTs), oscilloscopes, and optical spectrum analyzers.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing and scaling production processes.
