About Us: Our client, a leading US based commercial service company, is looking for a skilled Dispatcher to join the Chattanooga office team to ensure efficient coordination of technicians.
Job Summary: The Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching technicians to various service calls, ensuring timely and effective responses to client needs. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have experience in dispatching within a service company and a proven ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls based on priority and availability.
Communicate with clients to understand their service needs and provide updates on technician arrival times.
Monitor and adjust schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Resolve scheduling conflicts and address any issues that arise during service calls.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician assignments, and related activities.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.
Provide support and guidance to technicians in the field.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in dispatching within a service company (HVAC, Mechanical, Fire Contractors, Pest Control, etc.)
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in dispatching software and tools (ServiceTrade preferred but not required)
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
