Job Description:

Qualifications and Skills

Experience: At least 12-15 years of experience in software testing, with a significant portion in a leadership and architect role.

Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG), programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), Performance testing ( LoadRunner) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).

Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, and to drive the adoption of new practices and technologies.

Ability to lead workshops, including the gathering/documenting of requirements (Functional / NFR) and use-cases and recommendation of envisioned processes

Lead the development of custom testing tools and frameworks as needed.

Champion the adoption of new testing practices and tools across the organization.

Design and Development of Testing Strategies

Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that cover all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Implement automated testing solutions to improve efficiency and coverage of test cases.

Ensure that testing methodologies adhere to industry standards and best practices.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with Scrum team, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements and objectives.

Communicate testing strategies, status, and results to various stakeholders, including senior management.

Ensure that testing activities are aligned with project timelines and deliverables.

Facilitate effective communication between QA teams and other departments.

Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of testing efforts and communicate the progress with stakeholders

Quality Assurance

Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with software releases.

Conduct post-release reviews to identify areas for improvement in the testing process.

Ensure that software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
