Responsibilities
Maintain crucial records and share information as needed
Perform routine administrative and non-standard clerical duties
Proofread, compile, organize, and manage files, records, and reports (e.g., FMLA, safety incidents, requisitions)
Collect, enter, and organize various types of HR data
Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff
Operate various office machines
Greet and direct visitors appropriately
Complete assigned clerical tasks with accuracy
Handle confidential and sensitive information
Requirements
High school diploma with 5-7 years of progressively responsible clerical or administrative experience OR an Associate's degree in Office Management, Business Management, or a related field from an accredited institution with 2 years of clerical or administrative experience
Experience with Microsoft Office or similar word processing and spreadsheet programs
Ability to perform administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
Knowledge of office procedures, including proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Familiarity with clerical methods and practices
Understanding of departmental procedures
Strong customer service skills and ability to interact courteously with the public
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
Capable of performing tasks that may involve sitting, standing, walking, hand dexterity, and clear vision, speech, hearing, and observation
Effective oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to follow directions, work independently, and collaborate with a team
