We are seeking a Hardware Engineer (Test ) [U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents Only] to join the team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting new hardware designs to ensure compliance with design requirements. You will work closely with engineering teams to validate electromechanical systems, leveraging your expertise in hardware testing, communication protocols, and test automation.

Key Responsibilities
Perform electromechanical troubleshooting and hardware testing.
Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware performance.
Write test automation scripts using LabVIEW, Python, or MATLAB.
Troubleshoot electromechanical products and debug issues.
Utilize Linux command line tools for testing and debugging.
Work with communication protocols such as Ethernet and CAN bus.
Operate and interpret data from common test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, current sensors, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2+ years of experience in electromechanical troubleshooting or hardware testing.
Hands-on experience with LabVIEW, Python, or MATLAB for test automation.
Strong knowledge of Ethernet and/or CAN bus protocols.
Familiarity with Linux command line operations.
Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other common test equipment.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience with EMI and environmental testing.
Familiarity with military and aerospace testing standards such as MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464, DO-160, or similar.
