We are seeking a Project Engineer to support construction projects in the Minnesota region. This role involves working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Superintendents to ensure successful project execution from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Assist field teams, including Project Managers and Superintendents, with project execution.
Communicate effectively with design teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Help coordinate project layout and identify critical work items.
Assist in procurement of long-lead materials and equipment.
Interpret construction drawings and specifications for field teams.
Ensure subcontractor work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Generate and process RFIs as needed.
Participate in safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in construction preferred, with heavy civil experience being a plus.
Familiarity with scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) is a plus.
