As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing boards for audio/video products, which will involve both analog and high-speed digital circuits. Your role will include collaborating with board layout and mechanical contractors, as well as overseeing the board bring-up process, including any necessary software and scripting. You will also manage and update BOMs (Bill of Materials) and product documentation, and provide support during product manufacturing when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Design boards for audio/video products, including analog and high-speed digital circuits.
Collaborate with contractors for board layout and mechanical design.
Oversee board bring-up, including basic software and scripting tasks.
Create, update, and maintain BOMs and product documentation.
Provide assistance with product manufacturing processes as required.
Qualifications
BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) or equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in board design. Applicants with more experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Some experience in writing RTL (Register Transfer Level) code for FPGA.
Additional Information
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in designing professional-grade audio/video equipment, including expertise with SDI (Serial Digital Interface) interfaces, analog/digital audio interfaces, Ethernet ports, and processors.
