Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction and guidance for the PMO, ensuring all programs align with Tata Electronics' overall business and customer objectives.
• Develop and deploy best-in-class program management practices, fostering global adoption and governance of new product development processes.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple customer-facing programs spanning the entire product lifecycle-from concept through launch and continuous improvement.
• Manage program budgets, resources, timelines, and risks to ensure successful and on-time delivery.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of program managers across diverse functions and geographies.
• Establish comprehensive training programs to enhance team skills and productivity, driving improvements in product launch timeframes.
• Monitor program performance through key metrics, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Act as a primary point of contact for key customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations-to integrate diverse business units into a unified product lifecycle management process.
• Ensure all programs adhere to relevant industry standards, compliance requirements, and quality benchmarks.
• Install and maintain a common Project Portfolio Management (PPM) architecture across all operational sites.

  • Strong capability to analyze metrics, forecast outcomes, and make informed decisions that drive continuous improvement.

  • Skilled at working in a matrixed environment, building strong cross-functional relationships, and managing diverse teams.
  • A relentless focus on process optimization, quality assurance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or M.S.) preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or APICS are highly desirable.

Desired Experience Level:
  • 10+ years of experience in program management or a related leadership role, ideally within the consumer electronics, contract manufacturing, or EMS industries.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing global PMOs and leading professional services teams.
