Job Description :
The Supervisor - Advanced Projects & Product Launch is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and administration of conveyor systems for Vehicle Process Engineering launches. This role focuses on product launch readiness, PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and manufacturing process optimization. The supervisor will bridge feasibility and execution phases, ensuring resource allocation, financial planning, and process validation while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead feasibility analysis, including financial planning, conveyor architecture, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
Oversee product launches, ensuring alignment with PPAP, PFMEA, and production validation requirements.
Collaborate with global teams, KPIs, and long-range planning (LRP) to align project goals.
Monitor and track conveyor system performance, working closely with plant maintenance and SPW teams to optimize operations.
Lead PPAP submissions and validation processes to meet industry and quality standards.
Conduct PFMEA to assess and mitigate process risks, ensuring robust manufacturing processes.
Develop and maintain conveyor system specifications to support product launch readiness.
Establish and track project timelines, conduct team meetings, and supervise resource allocation.
Support CapEx reduction strategies, asset reutilization, procurement, and global sourcing.
Contribute to SPW pillars, including Cost Deployment, Health & Safety, Continuous Improvement, Logistics, and Manufacturing Efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering, or HSD with 5+ years of automation experience.
3+ years of engineering experience in automation, manufacturing, and product launch.
Strong knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, and process validation for manufacturing environments.
Experience in cost forecasting, technical team management, and troubleshooting control systems.
Expertise in conveyor systems, project management, and manufacturing process optimization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and SharePoint.
Self-motivated, innovative thinker with strong leadership and communication skills.
