We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities:
Conduct internal and external audits for IATF 16949/ISO 9001/ISO 14001 standards.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, driving corrective actions when necessary.
Lead investigations into product deviations and non-conformances, implementing root cause analysis and corrective measures.
Review and approve SOPs, validation documentation, and PPAP for customer parts and new revisions.
Design and specify testing and inspection mechanisms, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement continuous improvements.
Utilize SPC (Statistical Process Control) to interpret data and identify trends.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment (automotive experience is a must).
Strong background in stamping, welding, plating, or similar manufacturing processes.
In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949/ISO 9001 standards and corrective action processes.
Proficiency in SPC, root cause analysis, and Excel (pivot tables, data analysis).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with customers.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
Experience with GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Faro CMM program (a plus).
