About the Role
We are searching for an Operations Leader for the US, based in Dickinson, ND, who is looking to work alongside a tenured team as a strong leader, with a broad scope of influence and control.
This role will be responsible for leading all aspects of operations activities across North America and Europe. This includes light manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain, engineering, quality controls, order processing, distribution, administration, warehouse, and field technician teams. In leading these activities, this role will meet SHEQ obligations, deliver projects on time and within budget, with a focus on customer satisfaction and continual improvement at the forefront. This role will also drive consistency in standards across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for people management across the region, through objective setting, communicating the business vision, coaching, and developing employees and leaders.
Drive operational efficiency by implementing and overseeing streamlined processes within the operations team and gain buy-in from other departments. Provide guidance to facilitate regular reviews, updates, and enhancements to our processes, ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness.
Align with SH&E to ensure effective mitigation/elimination of risks is prioritized. This includes training compliance, timely incident investigation and action execution, hazard identification and mitigation, management of change, internal safety audit compliance, and corrective action completion.
Maintain ERP oversight and governance, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines including segregation of duties following the recent SAP implementation.
Lead a diverse team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results. Provide guidance to engineering teams where needed to address challenges and issues that come up with products and projects going into our customer sites.
Manage the accuracy of inventory across USA (3PL) and UK (3PL) storage warehouses through regular cycle and full physical stock counts.
Develop and manage the fixed cost budgets and reforecast as required for all rollup teams. Prioritize and justify the use of resources to deliver products and services, including management of people costs.
Source and analyze complex operational data from multiple sources to understand and optimize performance and costs.
Provide facilities management oversight for the Dickinson, ND and Denver, CO sites. Manage lease agreements for leased, commercial, and company-owned fleet along with office sites.
Who We Are Looking For
Experience in a similar role managing staff and working with international operations and engineering teams.
Successful past leading manufacturing, distribution, and installation teams.
Experience using the full Microsoft Office suite is essential; SAP ERP knowledge is highly regarded.
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in operational management roles, ideally with at least 3 years applying lean tools and training others.
Results-based leadership style with strong collaboration and influencing skills.
Experience in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels.

The salary range represents the minimum and maximum for this position. The range offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and location. Our base pay is just one component of our competitive total rewards package, which also includes annual remuneration/merit reviews, bonus target, competitive health and wellness benefits (employee medical premiums 100% employer paid!, STD/LTD and Life Insurance also fully employer paid), and a commitment to career growth and development.
