Job Responsibilities
? Analyze plans, specifications, RFPs, and RFQs to prepare accurate cost estimates.
? Perform take-offs for HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
? Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals.
? Maintain electronic document control and ensure compliance with company policies.
? Draft detailed proposals and scope letters for clients.
? Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for project success.
? Support the pre-construction team with value engineering and risk assessments.
Key Qualifications
???? 5+ years of experience in mechanical HVAC/plumbing construction as a Craftsperson.
???? Proficiency in estimating software (QuoteSoft/Express preferred).
???? Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
???? Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and mechanical/plumbing codes.
???? Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, RFQs, and bid documents.
???? Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
