The ideal Project Manager candidate will have at least 8-10 years of vertical commercial construction experience. As the company's "management representative", you will spend your time communicating with various stakeholders on the project. You will be responsible for the safety and execution of projects within budget, schedule, and standards.
Responsibilities
Ensure safety is incorporated into job planning and execution.
Promote accountability among staff and trade partners regarding project safety policies.
Actively participate in safety-related functions to enforce safety policies.
Manage pre-job planning activities, including personnel planning and scheduling.
Coordinate mobilization efforts and project start-up activities.
Oversee procurement of trade partners and vendors.
Deploy technology and manage other activities as outlined in the Book of 14.
Handle job purchasing and contracting in collaboration with the Estimating department and project team.
Serve as the primary company representative at the project site and point of contact for the owner.
Maintain open communication with all project stakeholders.
Resolve issues in a collaborative and efficient manner.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar field preferred
8-10+ years of Project Management experience in Vertical Commercial Construction
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated and driven to achieve results
Problem solving skills
High level of focus and depth of understanding the industry
Good and consistent judgement of complex problems
High attention to detail when working under deadlines and managing multiple priorities
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera P6
or Asta, Prolog and Bluebeam
