Job Summary
The IT Project Manager will be at the heart of BMG Money's digital transformation, overseeing technology projects that enhance our products, services, and customer experience. This person will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of technology-driven projects that support the company's financial services and loan products, as well as manage a variety of initiatives, including system upgrades, fintech integrations, and automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
Work closely with internal teams, including financial, operations, compliance, and risk management, to align IT initiatives with business goals.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Provide regular updates to executives and shareholders, highlighting progress, risks, and recommendations.
Streamline workflows and improve system efficiencies through automation and digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
Familiarity with financial technologies and platforms; proficiency in project management tools and software.
PMP, CSM, or ITIL certification is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
