The mission of the Payments Risk team is to serve our global community by providing payment support and protecting individuals and businesses against financial abuse. Within the Risk Operations team, Business Performance Team is responsible for overseeing day-to-day fraud management for Meta's suite of payments products. We define performance metrics, build monitoring and alerting systems, analyze new fraud trends, scale operational workflows, and build and manage rules to detect and prevent abuse.
Business Performance Analyst, Payments Risk Operations Responsibilities:
Leverage analytics to drive key performance metrics related to fraud losses, false positives, and operational efficiency
Apply a data-driven approach to identify, understand, and scope emerging fraud trends and support abuse on Meta's platforms
Design automation rules and new features/signals to deflect bad actors and prevent abuse of our scaled support workflows.
Partner with Data Science, Product, Engineering and Operations teams to solve problems at scale.
Willingness to learn new internal tools and systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years experience doing quantitative analysis
Experience with analyzing metrics and dashboards to quickly identify anomalous spikes/drops
Experience manipulating large data sets in SQL or equivalent, and drawing actionable insights from data
Experience with creating dashboards that help the business understand key performance drivers.
Demonstrated experience of performing root cause analysis that require investigative skills to understand how user behavior interacts with backend systems and infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or Economics
Experience in at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, Perl), statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS), or data visualization tool (Tableau)

$34.62/hour to $109,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
