Job Summary of the Medical Education Coordinator
The Medical Education Coordinator is responsible for supporting administrative and logistical aspects of Axogen's national and regional professional education programs, in addition to overseeing other projects as assigned. This position ensures adherence to federal, state, and AATB requirements, and company and ethical standards. Travel requirements will be up to 10-20% and includes some weekend travel.
Requirements of the Medical Education Coordinator
Bachelor's Degree (Life Sciences discipline and/or in a related field preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience (project management and/or project coordination experience preferred)
Experience collaborating with multiple external and internal stakeholders.
Interpersonal skills with capability to impact and influence internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Capability to analyze and translate data into easily understood formats.
Broad scientific and technical understanding of biotechnological companies and products.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 20% to respond to organizational needs.
Proficiency of MS Office applications required.
Responsibilities of the Medical Education Coordinator
The specific duties of the Medical Education Coordinator include but are not limited to:
Manages and enhances internal and external relationships with colleagues and strategic business partners
Assists with National and Regional educational events including, but not limited to, expense reporting, document printing, post-program surgeon evaluations, venue sourcing and Sunshine Act reporting.
Partners with Medical Education Team to facilitate ordering, shipping and logistics of cadaveric specimens in accordance with AATB, OSHA and Axogen Corporate policies and procedures.
Facilitates cadaveric specimen documentation in accordance with Axogen's Quality and Regulatory process.
Responsible for monthly and quarterly demo forecasting.
Responsible for coordination of all demo and supplies shipments for national and regional professional education programs.
Assists with budget tracking, accruals and monthly finance reporting.
Assists with Professional Education Program metrics tracking and reporting.
Administration of Third Party Educational Grants and Sponsorships process:
Work with compliance and external applicants to ensure all required documents are properly uploaded into the MedCompli system
Coordinate as needed with internal business partners to gather additional information and coordinate on site logistics and event support
Assist in communicating grant committee decisions to appropriate parties
Responsible for copy review process of Professional Education marketing materials and surgeon presentation material
Maintenance and distribution of Professional Education events calendar
Plans and coordinates in-person Professional Education department meetings.
Manges other projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Champions Company efforts to stay on the forefront of advancement in peripheral nerve repair.
Participates in and represent team in internal and cross functional meetings.
Develops and delivers presentations and reports as needed.
Supports educational program impact analysis monthly and quarterly.
Supports Medical Education staff
Fosters effective relationships with other functional groups and with external collaborators.
Delivers work in timely manner consistent with business objectives established by management
Complies with all federal and state laws, policies and regulations
Complies with all company policies, procedures and SOPs
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

This position is eligible for an annual bonus. Salary Range
$55,075 - $68,843 USD
Axogen follows healthcare system guidelines with respect to credentialing, vaccinations and other employment/compliance related requirements, as well as CDC guidance. Axogen reserves the right to amend its policies from time to time in its sole discretion.
